In the afternoon of 6^th December, Mr. Cai Xingang, the executive director and general manager of Weihai Kaitong Logistics Co., Ltd, was invited to our college to give a special lecture. The topic of the lecture is about ‘the Containers Change the World. Some of the teachers and students from Navigation College who teach or learn the relevant majors attend the lecture.

This Lecture is mainly centered on the contents of the growing trends of container shipping, shipping economics, port customs environment and the risk range of shipping. He details the current situation of container shipping, the main shipping lines of container shipping all over the world, the economy of the main shipping lines, the port customs environment of some important countries and so on. He analyses thoroughly the reasons of China- Japan shipping lines market of vicious competition. he also combine the real cases to explain some typical tricks and how to prevent.

Mr. Cai Xingang has extensive experiences in international freight forwarder and container shipping industry, this lecture helps the teachers and students to expand their horizons, improve their knowledge about relevant industries of Maritime transportation, which also helps our college to cultivate applied talents.
